MAACO Collision Repair & Auto Painting is the largest United States based franchise autobody shop
founded by entrepreneur Anthony A. Martino as an acronym of his name (similar to AAMCO),
which was once owned by Mr. Martino. The first pilot MAACO Auto Painting & Bodyworks
center was started in 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware. MAACO has hundreds of franchises in 48 states,
Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. The company has served nearly 17 million customers, that's over 12,000 vehicles a week.
It's advertising includes the popular catchphrase "Uh-oh, better get MAACO."
MAACO's services includes automobile paint jobs as well as spot paint and collision
repairs. In recent years the company has begun to offer higher level paint services as
well as late-model collision repairs. MAACO's pricing is structured in a way that there is
a paint service affordable for most budgets. The MAACO family is made-up of individual franchisees,
many of whom come from management backgrounds other than the autobody trade, though all receive
intensive training at the corporate offices in King of Prussia, PA.
This MAACO center, located at 7229 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, Texas is independently owned
and operated by M&C Auto Body Co.
